At Nall Naz, kids aren’t just the future of the church—they’re part of the family right now. We love creating a place where children feel welcomed, known, safe, and intentionally cared for as they grow in their faith. Our Children’s Ministry serves kids from birth through 5th grade and includes Sunday School classes at 9:30am as well as programming during our main worship service. Elementary students begin the service with their families and are dismissed during the offering for teaching time together, while our nursery and younger children have classes available during the full service. When you arrive, a greeter will help guide you to our kids wing and a volunteer will assist you with our check-in system and help get your child to the right room. We also understand that visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, so parents are always welcome to keep their children with them in service if they prefer. At Nall Naz, we’re a family of believers, and that means kids are an important part of our church life today—not just someday.
Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly greeters will show you where the Kids Check-In is when you arrive or walk with you to the nursery. Our children’s leaders will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can’t wait to meet you!
Your child’s safety is a top priority for us. All of our volunteers complete background checks and MinistrySafe training before serving, and many of them are parents themselves or individuals who care deeply about building relationships with kids. Our kids wing operates with a secure check-in system, and each classroom is monitored with cameras that feed into a secure recording system. Our security team is present during services, and we follow a two-adult rule in every classroom whenever possible. Our volunteers are also trained to respond to severe allergies and other safety concerns so parents can feel confident while their children are in our care. To create a safe environment, please follow check-in procedures when dropping off and picking up your children.
Our lessons are rooted directly in Scripture and follow a curriculum that loosely aligns with the church lectionary. Each lesson is designed with a “head, heart, and hands” approach—helping kids understand the Bible, connect it to their lives, and learn how to live out their faith. Through Bible storytelling, discussion, games, and activities, we want kids to engage with God’s Word in ways that are meaningful and memorable. Our hope is that every child leaves feeling known and loved by God and by the church. For kids who grow up at Nall Naz, our desire is to help build the foundations they need to become disciples who follow Jesus and eventually go and make disciples themselves.
